Deadpool is an exceptionally annoying card for your opponents to deal with
Remember the Choirmaster doesnt need to attack itself for its ability to activate, so you can hold this card back to ward off your opponents attackers with 5 or fewer toughness, whilst still proliferating away
That said, it was a little confusing (as you can perhaps tell from all the notes above), and requires a set with split cards to even be an option in the first place
